555374_4051867136577_658668252_nThere are many things in life I enjoy, music, movies, television, video games and I enjoy making people laugh, which is why I decided to publish “On the Upside”.

I see so much negative stuff in the world, but I’m also a firm believer in the tragedy + time = humor equation.  If I’m having a bad day, I watch a comedian on YouTube, or read a funny book.  Laughing can be so exhilarating.

So, I want to share my philosophy with you in hopes it will bring a little joy and happiness into your life when you’re having a bad day, and I enjoy any and all feedback, so if there is something you would like to see, or you have any ideas, let me know.  I love criticism, even when it’s harsh, I can learn a lot from other people’s experiences, so please feel free to contact me and let me know how you feel.

Who knows, maybe I’m just a hippie at heart, so on that note…

We all need more fun and laughter in our lives. Laughing is not just good for the soul, but also for your heart as well.   7. You sound like a really down to earth person, I like that. I like that you enjoy criticism, even the harsh kind, not many people want to hear that. Mix that in with you liking comedy, I look forward to your future post as well. I think in the future I will be visiting your page quite often.

    2. Hi Rach! I hope you are doing well. I’m sorry I missed this. I was in the process of starting it and things just got crazy. They are slowing down now so, hopefully I will be able to spend more time on here. Sometimes I hate it when life gets in the way.

    Here’s a little New Years message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.

    Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.
